Hutchison Telecom to launch 3G services in Hong Kong by yr-end library.northernlight.com HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Hutchison Telecommunications (HK) Ltd said the company expects to launch its third generation mobile services in Hong Kong by the end of this year. "We are working on our network upgrades and designing new applications related to the development of 3G services," managing director Agnes Nardi told reporters on the sidelines of the Hong Kong Information Infrastructure conference. She said the 3G service launch schedule will not be affected by a sluggish economy. "We are confident that goods services can attract customers," she said. She said the development of 3G services requires a lot of resources and the company is looking for business partners to share the expenses.
