Sorry, George. I just don't see a viable defensible position on the issue of companies moving their HQ to Bermuda to avoid paying their "fair share" of taxes, especially now that the budget has been busted to finance the war on terrorism.

It's one thing to rage because our taxation system needs an overhaul; it's another thing to take down the American flag at the company HQ and hoist the flag of Bermuda or Grenada or the Lesser Antilles instead.

What if Ford during World War II had told FDR that the company was going to move its HQ to Mexico City because Ford's profit margin was greater making cars than making tanks?
