Here in the USA there is a presumption of innocence by the law until proven guilty.

Yeah, right. ROTFLMAO, not.
So, how many detainees do you have in Cuba now? or indeed Afghanistan?
Had open trials, have they? had juries? had lawyers? and been proven guilty, have they?
Your choice - are you a fool, a liar or a blatant hypocrite?

I don't believe they deserve better, myself.
But I'm not that holier-than-thou, sanctimonious shit Ashcroft who's disregarding the Geneva Conventions, the rule of law and every other bit of your Constitution he's meant to uphold. Nor am I his buttlicker.
Meanwhile, you RWET asswipes go blindly on cheering on someone who's ripping up your precious Bill of Rights because it doesn't suit his bigotry. True, your ancestors fought for freedom. Better pray your children don't need it.

What when your son, or daughter, or grandchild is seized and held incommunicado for being in the wrong place? or holding the wrong views? or having the wrong spouse?
Will you be cheering then, as you beggar yourself finding a lawyer willing to speak for them - if you can even find them?
