P.S. Why the "Rarebird a.k.a Eclectus..."?

Nothing personal. It's just that I believe the two pen names refer to the one and selfsame person who is not averse to agreeing to disagree with other posters.

I can unequivocally state that Rarebird and myself are not the "one and selfsame person". I rarely agree with Rare. We both bandied back in forth with much disagreement on many occasions. He would most likely agree. Probably the only thing he would agree with me on. No, on second thought, I often agreed with his gold commentary. However, with that said, I am about as opposite from Rare as a person can be.

Nothing against Rare he seems to be intelligent person who firmly believes in himself. However, I do not agree with his Philosophy babble or his politics.

As an example: The following is pulled from Rare's member profile: "I'm a Transcendental Humanist. I Love Human Beings and Life. Additional Info The Human Can Achieve Whatever It Sets Its Mind, Heart & Will To Do. The Human Is The Power Of The Universe." Spoken like a true Humanist.

You see Rare's religion is Humanism and my religion is Jesus Christ. Jesus is "the power of the universe" in my book. The only part of the above profile Rare got right is the part concerning human achievement. Even the Lord agrees with Rare. In the days of the Tower of Babel, the Lord said the following: GEN 11:6 And the Lord said, Behold, The people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

The Lord knew that if man imagined it he could do it as nothing would be restrained from man's accomplishments.

Referring to me you are correct regarding agreeing to disagree. I'm not so sure you can apply that label to Rarebird. Now do you still believe that Rare and myself are the "one and selfsame person"?

Eclectus

The world created in 6 literal days is sheer nonsense

Where in the bible is the word "day" defined? The bible was written for a broad section of society, not just astronomers full of their current theories which we all know will change.

I'm a scientist too. There is big gaps in scientific knowledge. Big humongous gaps. It is an imprecise tool for the unknown.

People who use "science" to disprove religion are probably the dumbest humans in existence. Every human society on this earth, believes in some greater power, unseen to us alive on earth.

To believe that all life forces consist of only what we can see with our eyes has to be self important conceit of the ultimate kind.
