I'm not going to get into this argument. There is no possible worthwhile outcome.

I'm not a religious zealot and don't even attend church regularly. I do, however, count myself a Christian and embrace the Christian belief in forgiveness as the one single ethic that will save the world from that which you so fear.

I think you are a zealot of zealots. Don't bite yourself in the tail.

Relinquish your own God, Ann. Mine is incapable of being relinquished.

"Relinquish your God for the greater good".

This is one of the most twisted statements I have ever heard. Man suffers at the hand of man not God. Organized religion is the invention of man, man is the invention of God. Man has caused suffering through all his institutions. Organized religion is a small example, government is a much bigger example. In any concentration of human power the weak will suffer. This is not a reflection on God but on the greed and selfishness of man. Without God man will surely destroy himself.

You have a choice to believe in God or to believe in man, I can tell you from my many years in "institutions of higher learning" that if you believe in man or the science of man, you are a fool.
