-The Tri-Band market is(has been) very small, suitable for those who design for and manufacture small series
(with more GSM in USA, the market grows at exactly these quarters)

-Color screens is a function of two major factors, color services, protocols (MMS) and mass produced,
high quality, color screens. (that market is also around the corner)

- QCDMA has, and probably will stay so for as long as possible, a "fuzzy standard" market, obviously on purpose,
sometimes by mistake.
However, whith more roaming, the need for better standardization, upgrade paths, testing, verification
is increasing.

- Style (and fashion) is a complex matter, includes many factors. Some get along as copy cats, some are
more creative. (which takes a special corporative culture and management)

Btw, color displays are as good taping a colored tape over the screen before MMS and especially Java.

Btw,btw, when was it that Nokia publicly announced the three color form factors..
