<<Nasdaq topping...>>

JIM:

It seems looking at the NAZ chart at present is a question of wether you see the glass half empty or half full.<g>

It was not able to close above the previously discussed resistance of 1,935 but it traded as high as 1,945 (which was higher thn Friday's 1,935) although the intra-day L of 1,905 was lower than Friday's( 1,908).<g>

I am satisfied with the NAZ holding above Friday's up-gap. I haven't discounted the hope that it will be able to test the resistance (from late January) at 1,950 level, which is not that far away.

Of course it still will need to close above the January 9 H (2,098.88).<g>

<<SPX getting ready for a dip...>>

JIM:

Like the political analysts on election day like to say: "It is still to early to call".<g>

After it gave a "Buy Signal " on March 1st, it is still holding above support (1,135) It closed Friday's early up-gap on Friday afternoon and it finished on a slight recovery pattern from its intra-day Ls.

Today it managed to close above its longer average line (now at 1,165) I will start getting concerned if it drops below the 1,160.<g>
