IB is direct access. You route your order to the desired ECN or MM. You can use their smart order routing which will fill you on the best bid offer regardless of who it is. They have the statisics of where orders are filled somewhere on their site. As far as charting I doubt you will see anything from them. Perhaps an arrangement similar to MBT where the order entry can be integrated with various premium charting packages. Order entry only modules seem to be the dominate idea in the futures arena also. I think it leaves the individual trader more freedom to choose his/her own charting package to suit his/her own specific needs.
