Just one more note.

I have a Business Week article from October 8, 1984 that I've saved. It's the cover story and is titled:

"THE SUPERDOLLAR It's reshaping the world economy - and could last a decade."

I'm sure you know what happened soon thereafter.

If I can interrupt the UN for a minute, I've come across an at least somewhat credible analyst saying that indeed, with U.S. recovery spreading rapidly overseas, there is a case being made for "somewhere else to go." See today's BCA Daily Insights.

Even as I typed it, I knew that short-run thing was going to reach around and bite me.
