If true that would be a big accomplishment and would put AMD under serious pressure. Somewhat strange that Intel expects to get more than a 50% boost from going to 0.13 micron this year while AMD is indicating much less on their roadmaps (Athlon XP2800+ in Q4 would be 30% gain if it's on 0.13 micron bulk). However, there's still the SOI wildcard for AMD.

Elmer- Intel's .13u process is very very healthy.

Err, I hate to sound like Monica, but how do you know that? BTW, I don't necessarily refute this, I just would like to know more about your sources. Are you a current or former employee?
