"I believe that openness and the truth are vastly superior to the smug secrtetiveness of the present Administration"

The VP came up with an energy plan. Is there something in that PUBLIC plan that bothers you? If so, go after it. That would be a cause. To demand how he came to the plan is invasion of his privacy and affects how candid people will be with him.

I am nearly POSITIVE that if the repubs wanted access to private meetings that Clinton had when there was no evidence of him doing anything wrong you would see the other side. Problem is when you HATE the participants as you do in this case, you will go with whatever attack you can. Just as Daschle and the rest of them do.

They are public servants. Not our tyrants. I believe in sunshine laws, I believe the public has a right to know what is
being done in their name, and why. I believe that openness and the truth are vastly superior to the smug
secrtetiveness of the present Administration.

Absolutely. I want everything written or spoken for the last five years (I'm being charitable) between Clinton, Daschel, Gephardt, Waxman, Franks, all the union presidents, Rubin, Goldman Sachs, the Clinton Publishers
Hollings, Byrd, Kent (who seems to have lost $6 bilion dollars somewher in the Ag subsidy), AMD, Cargill, Enron, Marc and Denise Rich, and the major dope dealer Cliton pardoned, gary Winnick, McCaullife, and the Justice Department honcho who let Clinton off with a slap on the wrist and no prosecution. I'll make up a further list tonight. but this is a start. Gee! I forgot the Trial Lawyer's Association and Mary Jo White.
