Perhaps the BOD's (Condit et all) are setting a trap for Wally. Wally gets to shoot his mouth off about how things are going his way and then loses the vote.

The problem is that while Carly is busy setting a trap, WW continues to garner shares against the merger.
Admittedly, the ideal scenario is to win the vote while making WW look so bad that he is eventually ousted from the BOD.
But the first priority is to win the votes w or w/o concern for WW's future.
Getting the cart before the horse, looking beyond the immediate needs, and failure to focus on the urgency of the real problem, which currently is WW's full court press, is not wise.
