When did Intel start shipping at 130nm, and how much will they have gained by mid-2002? Now, project this same gain for from the time AMD starts shipping at 130nm and mid-2003, when the transition to 90nm is supposed to occur. If the transition to 90nm is delayed until well into 2004, I am quite certain that AMD can push 130nm to significantly higher clocks than they are currently projecting.
