There are civilians on this board. It might help if you decipher that for them. MOS is an acronym that indicates your military job....it means Military Occupational Specialty. there are 2 Infantry MOS's...11B is the traditional light infantryman...affectionately called eleven bush...after where they live. 11C is the heavy weapons infantryman...every rifle company has a heavy weapons platoon that consists of machine guns, mortars and anti-tank weapons...the men in that platoon are affectionately called eleven charlies.
