Thank you so much. The story about the bug I wrote to use with my class today, teaching time- and I DID illustrate it with two pincher bugs that I used as clock hands for my transparency on the overhead. MY 2nd graders just LOVED that story. I have never seen kids so happy to learn time. Since I was being observed by my supervisor this was a Good Thing. He said he had never seen a class so enthusiastic about a lesson. Neither had I. And I've done some pretty good lessons. That story is so far only published here :-) I am having a poem published- I think you might have confused Karen's reference to that, with my story of the pincher bugs.
