Good article on Ridge's office and what they're doing. I'm afraid I'm with uw on this one, still a skeptic. This piece does suggest, however, they are doing a slightly better pr job than all the color coding nonsense suggests. John

if the article is accurate then they're concentrating on important and useful things, and going about them in an intelligent way: i agree. they have a monumental task...getting 285 million folks thinking along the same line may not be possible. but i still think the key for the homeland defense folks is to ask one question before putting out a policy... "what will this mean to the average American...am i giving clearcut guidance that the average person will understand?"
