The case for taking action against his regime, they contend, must be built on solid evidence of his efforts to develop weapons of mass destruction - not on dubious reports of links to Al Qaeda.

What press releases do you Europeans read? Is there something vital lost in the translation? Hello? No one has made a case for attacking Iraq based on some "bin Laden-Iraqi connection" for 9/11. What Bush and company HAVE been on the bully pulpit about is just what is mentioned above - get Hussein before he develops the Bomb and lets it "fall" into the wrong hands.

The whole "Iraqi-al Queda" lack-of-link is a European Red Herring, or self-delusion, to avoid facing the reality of a changed geopolitical environment. The US isn't just out to get those who perpetrated 9/11, and Europe needs to get it into their heads - the US IS OUT TO GET WHOMEVER POSES A THREAT TO US SECURITY... PERIOD. Geesh. Let me know if I need to whip out the bullhorn and say it louder for you guys over the Big Drink.

LOL! I don't think that other trip of Atta's will be investigated any time soon.
