What sort of explanation are you looking for? Bush had it right in that they are simply evildoers who have been twisted by hate to want to kill all Christians. If we are not careful, we'll start churning out our own little haters, if we keep labeling entire religions as 'evil'. The vast majority of Muslims in this country are good, law-abiding citizens and visitors. Personally, I have had an opportunity to work with a large number of Muslim engineers, have met some of their families, and have found them to be cordial and very decent. I personally know more knot headed rednecks than hot headed Muslims.

It's unfortunate. I have to agree. The few Muslim leadership editorials that have appeared are offensive, not constructive. Even the bastard Saudi prince Al Waleed offering $10m to Gulliani on Ground Zero, RIGHT AFTER 9/11 began lecturing the American people on what we are doing wrong. He should have been run out of the country, denied a visa, had his investments frozen, and thoroughly investigated. He wasn't, due to the lack of testosterone and the total corruption by petrodollars in our administration and Congress. Anyone other than Gulliani would have taken the money and kissed his ass on both cheeks. Instead, we hear apologists say how most Muslims are fine. That may be. But where is the evidence? Does the media refuse them? The impression left by some is that the 5-times/day brainwashing leaves a billion robotic people unable to control their own extremist feelings. That can't be true, but it's an impression. What the problem is, I don't know. But it's definitely a problem that needs to be fixed before there will be any kind of end to this.
