bacchus, I think you may have a language problem. First the US press is not controlled by Jewish people. It is true that there is some Jewish influence, but all the races that make up the US mixture also have influence,(Irish, Polish etc) Now since Jewish people are generally more highly educated than many others groups and they send letters to the news media and congress that may make editors more responsvie to them but the others are free to do the same. In any event your comment came across as very racist and made it look as if you thought that Jewish people ran the US media, I think you should retract that comment or explain how you felt as I among others find it offensive as stated.
