In an investor's long term (not nuclear waste's half-life..), the demand will be there. Long-term demand is a necessary condition for USEC's business to survive.

Who fulfills long-term demand? Marginal demand in the nearer term isn't coming from North America. It's nice to have growing local demand; if they had, they might be able to afford the R&D they need to cut costs. At least they seem to have received decent terms from the Russians.

FD: I own USU in my nontaxable account for the yield and long-term potential. However, I am not buying here; given a 25%+ drop, ceteris paribus, I could change my tune.
