Excel is loading much faster now.

Funny... I didn't even have the feature installed so I had to put in the OfficeXP CD to install it then uncheck it.

My PC running Windows 98 now takes hours to defrag. Its not a very large hard drive, so this is odd. The defrag program gets up to about 64% then says "drive contents changed, starting over". And so it does. I have done the obvious things; PC is not hooked up to the web while i do this..all programs and applications are turned off. Any suggestions? Might there be some problem within windows itself that is causing this?
