Which facts? Here is what you said:

"Not only that, but Kevin and his vacant liberal friends forget that many law enforcement officers are members of the NRA and strong proponents of the Second Amendment. They also forget that NONE of these proposed gun laws will keep guns out of the hands of criminals. NONE! It's so obvious, it's been a bumper sticker for years: "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns."

or was it:

"I did consider the "Whole Amendment." The phrase "A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state" does not modify the second part, "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." It's an unnecessary phrase, but if you insist, then you are in the militia like the rest of us."

Both have been repudiated. In the second post, it shows that the 2nd amendment clearly does not guarantee the right to bear arms. If you disagree, take it up with the Supreme Court.

The first was in response to your admiration of the NRA and its "efforts" to help law enforcement. Some help. Blocking legislation for waiting periods, blocking the need for computerized record keeping to track guns used by criminals, impeding the ATF from timely inspections of gun dealers. By help, if you mean helping the criminal, then they have achieved their goal.

I just cannot understand why so many accept the loss of around one million people in our country to guns since 1965 from murder, suicide and accidents. Maybe when their son or daughter is shot by a friend who "was just playing around" the evil tragedy of the NRA lies will come through to them.
