CQP seen vulnerable on no deal vote: UBS (HWP, CPQ) By Emily Church

Shares of Compaq Computer (CPQ) are likely vulernable if shareholders on Tuesday reject the Hewlett-Packard (HWP) take-over deal, UBS Warburg says. Downside risk to Compaq shares is that it could sell for 30-40 percent of revenue, equal to $5-6/a share, analyst Don Young said. "A broken deal would most likely cause a serious loss of confidence by customers, the potential for accelerated defections from the proprietary server base, and we believe the need for major restructuring charges to address problems in the CPQ PC business," he said.

Future of the SI Compaq Forum
Assuming the merger is accepted, what is the future of this forum? After looking at the HP forum, there seems to be a different culture there. Do we want to preserve ours or merge with the HP forum?
