You hit the nail on the head. The US v Miller decision is flawed in so many convoluted ways it is beyond explanation.

Miller will present a real problem for the anti-gunners

We can only hope that the CA assault gun ban reaches the Supreme Court. Do you really think they will rule in favor of a private citizen's right to own heavy arms in the context of the 2nd amendment? Maybe you already went to bed, and are dreaming.
