X asks for an apology, then puts me on ignore? I fully recognize the illogic of that. The ignore feature, IMO, creates at least as many problems as it solves, including the obvious one you suggest, and I don't favor it at all. Opting to not read someone's posts, though, is a defensive measure, not a hostile one, although I suppose it could be used that way. When one chooses to protect oneself from further onslaught by avoiding certain posts, how can anyone find fault? Decency requires that we stop pummeling even the baddest dude on the block when he assumes the fetal position. I know you care about decency. After this post, X might put me on ignore, too, if she's reading this at all. I don't suppose she'd be pleased at my portraying her as the victim any more than you are. Hopefully, if I quit now, she won't get mad at me, too. Karen
