Good luck getting away from that tar baby. PCS' parting shot to me was a 54 cent bill for taxes on an invoice full of adjustments and zero balance. I invested in a stamp for the privilege of a rant and got a message on my recorded that they had reversed the charge.
Still waiting to see how they end up billing the last of my home long distance service. I had a long argument with the guy at the 800# over whether I should pay for services he acknowledged I should not have been billed for.
And when I was with Mindspring (part of Earthlink) they had this amusing habit of billing "simultaneous" usage at $1/hour when, with only one computer tied into one modem tied to a dedicated phone line, I would be dropped from one of their numbers and would dial into another.
Oh well, back to the market...

AT&T isn't any better than Sprint -- they lie, cheat and steal, too.

I've been using a little no-name co for long distance with a dial-in number -- don't laugh -- I did give them my credit card number -- but I've had 'em for a year and a half and they haven't raised rates or added any crazy charges in that time ... $0.07 anywhere, any time.

I'm still shocked that they haven't tried something in that amount of time -- surely they will pretty soon.
