On one level it's a moot point. On another, quite significant. Should HWP shareholders ultimately vote AGAINST the merger, it makes CPQ shareholders look better if we, too, don't appear to want the merger when our votes are counted.

The media is focusing too much on why CPQ might not be good for HWP. Well, not all CPQ shareholders think HWP will be good for CPQ. A strong AGAINST vote from CPQ shareholders would show this.
