SG Cowen analyst Richard Chu said the deal seemed done.

"I don't think (HP) is going to be issuing a wild, unfounded memorandum here, so I think it says the probability is very high that they do indeed have the vote and that it will be ratified over the next couple of weeks," Chu said.

NW -- IMO it is a done deal. Still thinking about the weekwend as cpq has not always been good,,LOL. WW gets credit for making the vote as close as it was but it is very rare for mgmt not to get its way. If WW did not control so much alone there never would have been a question. Now he has proven to the world he is a idiot that should not be allowed to play with real money he should go back into his hole and hide the rest odf his life..
