NV, when the economy recovers, energy prices go up. That's normal.

Presidents Ford and Carter said they wanted to be free of dependence on foreign oil. That's all just for local consumption. Our policy is to suck up everyones oil and conserve ours for the end play when we need it. It's too expensive to get it out of our reserves, so why do it when prices are so low?

With China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkministan, Azerbaijan, and others in the oil biz, the Middle Eastern oil will slowly become less of a global force, with the exception of the Saudis, who can wreck the market by turning up the spigot.

a chart for OEX from Security Trader , i have drawn the same on my IQCharts for SPX500 and my measure is a break above 1180/1185 would signal the Bull will run. securitytrader.com^OEX&ChartID=45158&ChartType=D with next resistance at 1225 area on the other a break below 1040/1035 a bear victory. But as i suspect bulls have April in hand, a pullback to just 1110 area would be nice buy area, imo. I want the pullback:) and here is a repeat of where NDX100 stands at moment. securitytrader.com^NDX&ChartID=45080&ChartType=S
ST's brief comment for yesterday's action <Tuesday March 19, 2002; 6:00PM ET

Todays action was the same as yesterday, rallied and gave it back at the close, a sign of weakness (inability to follow-thru)......more pullback likely.>

<<Aj, Oil prices will drop or else>> it is highly likely it will be the "or else". OPEC want 30, and they need 30. They need it now as average income has dropped significantly in SA and their be revolutionary elements stirring in SA.
Thirdly, one can not discount a distribution breakdown at some point.
OSX is now overbought and at strong resistance. But it's a buy on a pullback in my view.Max p.s. as for the hybrid cars, SA is not worried about 10 years from now, they are worried about the NOW. The Fat Cat Royal Family maybe becoming a relic of the past(it is a Feudal System in the 21st century).
Just read that between 500-700billion dollars are invested in the U.S. from the "Royal Family" which constitutes just 85,000 people. And that figure goes well over a trillion when counting money invested in europe.Max
