Just saw the interview of Bill Gross (PIMCO) on CNBC and the concerns he has about GE. I think his focus was more about disclosure of information to debt holders. That is the main message I got. Was not as negative on GE as I had expected. You can bet the CFO is going to be working late night to make sure Bill Gross's concerns are addressed by tomorrow morning.

I am almost positive that the late day decline in Naz/Dow/SnP was primarily due to the fears about GE...this is the biggest corporation in the world and has tons of debt.

Why would one want to take a risk on possibility (even if small) of GE turning into a Tyco? Sell first and ask questions later is what traders did...but everything got sold because of the importance of GE.

Still my feeling about the market is that it is risky. Need some positive news from tech companies especially. Surprised by the lack of warnings so far but is there one big one just around the corner?
