You seem to be willfully blind to the ridiculous fact, for instance, that we spent $30 Billion on the CIA last year, and they didn't even have a single Farsi or Urdu speaker in the DO. This is nuts. Instead they spent 85% of their budget on spy satellites. Now, they still don't want to do the right thing, i.e. hire agents to work the souks and the mosques where the al Qaeda type plots are hatched. They want more money for more useless satellites. If you can't see the stupidity and waste of this then you are too hopelessly naive for me to discuss the matter with.

Yes. A few brave Americans on Flight 93 with zero support from DOD took down an airliner.

That was more than the $1/3 Trillion DOD managed to do, even after an hour's notice.
