I cannot be sure if anything you just said corresponds to facts. Perhaps those are just more feelings. Do you know for a fact that people who "rail" against the death penalty don't know who the victims are? Are their statistics on this? Do you jump to the conclusion that if they do not know the names of the victims they do not care about them? Or that they feel no outrage over the loss of life? Is this a wise conclusion to jump to? Or is their evidence on this?

And who are these people who "rail" against the death penalty? I would like to find out, so that I can see for myself whether or not they have suitable outrage about criminal murders. Also I would like to know just how you define "rail". Does that mean: people who disagree with my position in a forceful manner? Does it mean: people whose opinion I do not like, regardless of the force they use in their argument?
