Your suggestion that steel workers are a part of the general populace is quite enlightening, LOL. I was speaking of large picture overall(Macro) results. You are speaking of a micro aspect of the results of a steel tariff, of which there are many to add together before arriving at the overall truth as I've stated it.

In short, you are not about right at all, not with that. Of course steel plant employees are are a part of the general populace. Furthermore, of course a tariff can prolong the life of a domestic industry that would otherwise die(an extreme case). Maybe you are just being silly, eh?

You do an awful lot of wondering, Ray, and I can understand why. It is obvious that Dan means the general populace of which, yes, the steel workers are a part. But you knew that, .....didn't you?
