The broadband buildout is not over, but the growth is easier to handle today than before, making it more difficult to earn big money on deploying broadband. The stocks that will earn money on broadband will be those who provide killer applications and are first movers. A killer application here is an application that people cannot live without, just like the mobile phone was.

The question is where to find these stocks, and I'm not sure that they will be found in the global mass-market - some of them will probably be found in smaller or more specialized markets.
