I'm not saying that the US should militarily intervene in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, merely that there is no requirement that it get permission from any authority to do so.

We should come to the aid of the only democracy in that part of the world.
Or at the very least, we shouldn't "tie their hands", while we are
off "fighting terrorism". Personally, I would like to see us take over
a few oil fields in Iraq and pump oil to pay for rebuilding the WTC.
