When asked by a reporter, an AOL employee, was quoted saying that one of the reasons he was forced to switch from NetScape Mail is that Microsoft PREVENTED instant messaging between AOL and MSN, those Monopolistic Bastards!

JFD << employees prefer Outlook Express over their mandated AOL mail. >>

Have you ever used AOL mail? It's a complete joke. Absolutely nothing close to the caliber of Outlook or Outlook Express. Not even close.

IMO,
Dave

Seems like AOL employees prefer Outlook Express over their mandated AOL mail.

Wouldn't you? I'd rather use text-only command-based email from a Terminal window than AOL. That doesn't say much positive for Microsoft, but it's pretty damning of AOL. I have a friend who works at Time Warner who says they all gripe about having to use AOL all the time. Can you blame them?

If you think, however, that a marketing message like "Microsoft Outlook Express: It's Even Better Than AOL Mail" is a winning strategy, you're mistaken.
