Lee, Was in the Air Force and stationed at Headquarters 2nd Air Force in Shreveport. This was in late 1961 and 1962. Have not been back since then and can not help you out with details on living in Shreveport today. Started out in the 43rd Bomb Wing with the B58's at Carswell in Fort Worth. This was during the transition period of the B58 to operational status. What do they have at Barksdale these days? We had a B52 operational wing at Barksdale in those days. Your post brought back some fond memories. Joan
