TO YOUR QUESTION, how can Israel survive economically in peace conditions, as US money will not be forwarded. 1/ Israel does not need more settlements, as it doesn't harbor more Jews. The incoming Russian made it up for the departing locals relocating in the West. 2/ For the price of two F 16, (you, read they please), do build a desalinisation plant of a fifty million cubic meters per year, forever. 3/ Same applies for more plane. Do your figures. 4/The whole war type economy, adults leaving their work to do military duty and so on. Most of the young ones having to serve for two to three years. That is a lot of money wasted. 5/ The US money does not cover the military and military related expenses, and/or losses. So, I do not think that you should view this war as some Israeli money making machine. Basically the same problem the far Left had with Vietnam, yelling that the gun builders were having the war going on as to do business, but no one ever explaining who is going to pay for the 4555 helicopters the US lost there, not to mention the people, other equipment etc. The old communist agit prop, as you know.What shall we call it this time ? Now "Stooges" seems to be in favor, but there are probably many others.
