larry, got to be careful with Framwald, he was at the birth bed of Rambus, one would say that is both positive and negative, I think he underestimate the problems of heat dissipation in a #D system, look at what happened to Trilogy, and they were working only on a 2D wafer scale integration, and could not solve the heat dissipation on that scale (and the wafers were not greater than 2" and 3").
