I'm reading Thomas Friedman's book on globalization, "The Lexus and the Olive Tree" IBM was one of it's first victims and still may not be out of the woods. If that's true it speaks harshly for the prospects of large multinationals to control the markets against smaller more nimble opponents. We shall see. Certainly all this exposure is lighting up the playing field, ...just as necessary as leveling it.
