Vendit sits with arms folded….as another pay web site tries to figure out HOW TO MAKE MONEY via a PAY SITE. Traders and lurkers, Beginning next week Kinetic will be a FREE, concise service consisting of discursive trade, market, and chart ramblings not unlike it was in 1999. Sometime in 2000 this venture transformed itself into a three headed monster with hundreds of members, which subsided as the bubble popped. After a few other fleeting projects (including the most recent), none of which became significant, simplicity calls. As most do, this began as a record of ideas and trades. As soon as that ceased to be the focus it started losing its value. I'd rather have back some sense of community than the income a client/advisor arrangement affords. Maybe it will be appropriate sometime, but not for now. Every attempt to start back up with the for-pay model seems to grind down to the point I'm putting out so little information even important emails seem out of place. Enough of that. I also managed to create significant overhead for the "business" when it wasn't even active. Brilliance at work! Actually that is not a tough thing to do but hiring some Indian programmers was overkill, since this move to free format marks that work worthless (note: just after they finished the project about 5 companies began packaging up the same features in software backends for 1/10 the price). Who knows where my head is sometimes... surely you have some guesses. Guess please. - Prepaid customers of the existing site will be contacted in regard to refunds. New activations this week were not charged. - John Gilluly has his own ruckus at www.marketinsights.biz for those interested in following his system. Incidentally just after we offered it here it experienced its first drawdown, ever! So it goes. - Futronix Trading is a CTA/CPO that manages real funds and posts portfolio trades online at www.futronixtrading.com - Servers are being switched over the weekend so email sent to support@kinetictrader.com or e@kinetictrader.com may not work correctly until Monday. Look forward to all the benefits of free info beginning Monday. It will involve stocks, futures, options, currency, bits from other trading resources.
