My point is this: From my personal experience as a mother of an Asian, I can tell you that people still prejudge folks based on color in this country. This whole thing started out with a simple "Did you see the Academy Awards last night? I'm so pleased to see an African American woman finally won for Best Actress after seventy-four frickin' years." To those of you who honestly believe that racial prejudice doesn't still exist in this country, I say this: Get a clue. End of topic for me. I've got better things to do with my time. Like changing the cat litter.
