I agree. The next decade will probably be a mix of up and down years with only a very modest average return.

The only reason I started posting on this board is because someone suggested that high PE's made it highly unlikely that the market can rise. I think that's an incorrect statement. The poster also stated that it's highly likely that the market will plummet. I also think that is an incorrect statement.
