Like General Butler said about the major families who attempted to get his help to organize a coup against FDR, the form of government they wished to have was simple and direct:"what they wanted was fascism" That's the appeal to the wealthy who want to maintain control, especially those who didn't earn their money through honest means to begin with. See the book "Siezing the White House", if you can find it, that is.
