It's unlimited. Technology can even clean up coal plants, but there is no leadership in that direction either.

These amoral thieves could still be wealthy opportunists, if with a little imagination they encouraged profitable ventures in cleaning up and expanding the efficiency of hundreds of sources and users of energy.

If it's one thing I hate, it's stupid opportunists...

<<Their answer is MORE COAL PLANTS! Talk about a 1940's mentality.>>

In my area we are building more coal fired plants and burning high sulphur "dirty coal". We have about a 300 year supply of it and are building the plants next to the mines.

Then again we are using new technology that produces 50% less pollution than even the strictest measures proposed for 2025. Tried nuclear in a $4 billion experiment that kind of worked. Did some testing with wind and that had way too many problems.

if only life were that simple. windmills are not a realisitc solution for the time being, although slapping an import tariff on foreign oil does sound realistic, because it will serve to make all domestic energy sources more competitive, including windmills.

alas, i nearly forgot. we can't have tariffs. tariffs are for big government socialists. you know, those george washington, james madison, alexander hamilton, abraham lincoln, teddy roosevelt kind of socialists.

Enjoy the lovely windmill pictures on this link, and while you're at it, I invite you to spend some time exploring the guy's site, which goes into the economics and real-world experience with wind power.

I don't think he even addresses what happens when a flock of geese innocently gets caught up in the churning blades.
