I agree with the "so easy to clean" part. That's really the main reason that I got this. BTW, the Whirlpool one is made so that you can pop all the knobs off the front and slide the glass backsplash panel up to remove it for washing. That was another thing I liked about it. Guess that's what starts to happen to you when you get to be an old croc... you start choosing things based on how easy it is to keep them clean.

When you have a ceramic cook top, you need flat bottomed pots or they don't cook evenly. I can recall going to department stores and fishing through a pile of saute pans until I found one that was perfectly flat. I would set each on on the counter and spin it. I buy T-Fal now. They're absolutely reliable. I'm surprised that Rambi's old RevereWare works.
