Did you try messing around a bit with your IE settings. Go to tools and click on Internet Options. Try the "Fonts" and the Accessibility buttons. You can try selecting "Ignore font styles specified on web pages", and/or "Ignore font sizes specified on web pages" and see if helps any. If it doesn't you could ask about the problem here.
