Simply replace the term "voting" in your post with "issuing a drivers license" to see how foolish your argument is. We are electing people who take our property by force, and even one who can destroy the world with the push of a button. Yet we make people qualify to drive so they won't be a local danger. We are fools to think that the conferring of coercive power should be made by illiterates who vote in exchange for a pack of cigarettes...
