Well a) it wasnt AMD who posted this report -- it was AMDZone.com.. and b) I'm not sure the news clipping is irrelevant in proving a point.. I think whoever sent this to AMDZone was trying to show evidence that Aberdeen has been pro-Intel in the past, so their attack on AMD and the PR-rating isnt supposed to be surprising.. the surprising part is about Intel's apparently funding the report as reported by Mike and the Inquirer.

I guess one could ask or suspect whether Aberdeen had funding last yr on the "Itanium 42% marketshare by 2005 report".. but without evidence.. thats speculation and hearsay.. doesnt make Aberdeen or Intel look that good however. I agree with Mike - Amd may have got handed a small PR (pun intended) victory.
