Anthony - lot of hits on home dialysis because... ... there are 2 types of dialysis offered: hemodialysis & peritoneal dialysis. folks who opt for peritoneal dialysis treat themselves at home whereas those who use hemodialysis go to a clinic or hospital. im inclined to think that hemo is better than peritoneal -- but peritoneal offers the user some benefits. anyway -- i know -- cuz my brother who died last year did peritoneal dialysis for 10 years.
